Step 1
Open your timetable in Sentral
Sign in to your school's Sentral portal in a browser and open your timetable — the view that shows your whole teaching week or cycle, not just today.
From Sentral to your planner
Every school's Sentral is set up a little differently, so this guide sticks to what travels: get your timetable out as a file — calendar export, PDF, or screenshot — and let Made to Teach turn it into a draft you review.
Step 1
Sign in to your school's Sentral portal in a browser and open your timetable — the view that shows your whole teaching week or cycle, not just today.
Step 2
Look for anything that produces a file: a calendar (.ics) export if your school's setup offers one, or a print option. Sentral is configured differently at every school, so where this lives varies — and your timetable officer or IT team can export one for you if you cannot find it.
Step 3
If there is a print view, use your browser's print dialog and choose Save as PDF. A clear screenshot of the full grid works as well — just check the day labels, clock times, and class names are readable.
Step 4
In the app, open Classes → Import timetable. Upload the file directly on your device, or choose Import using our website, generate a one-time code, and upload from any browser at import.madetoteach.com.au.
Step 5
Made to Teach turns your upload into a draft timetable. Check every class name, room, day, and time, fix anything that looks wrong, then choose Add timetable to schedule.
