Timetable import
If your school timetable is saved as a calendar file, PDF, photo, or screenshot, Made to Teach can turn it into a draft. You check everything before it is added.
Choose the easiest route
Both options create the same reviewable draft. Pick the one that saves you moving the file around.
In Made to Teach
Open Classes → Import timetable, choose Import in the app, then select your calendar file, PDF, photo, or screenshot.
In any web browser
Generate a code in the app, enter it on this website, and upload from the phone, tablet, or computer that has your timetable. Follow the four steps below.
Browser walkthrough
Keep Made to Teach nearby. You will start and finish in the app, with the upload handled in a browser on the device that has your timetable.
Open Classes, choose Import timetable, then select Import using our website. Tap Use our website and generate a one-time code.
On the phone, tablet, or computer that has your timetable, open import.madetoteach.com.au in a browser and enter the eight-character code shown in the app. This connects that browser upload to the right Made to Teach import.
Choose the .ics export or PDF you saved from your school timetable system, then upload it. Made to Teach will prepare a draft without changing your current schedule.
Return to Made to Teach and open the waiting import. Check the class names, rooms, days, and times. Edit or remove anything that does not look right, then choose Add timetable to schedule.
Before you start
Export just your teaching timetable where possible, rather than your full personal calendar.
A repeating calendar file (.ics) works best. Weekly and fortnightly PDFs and clear timetable images are also supported.
Your timetable does not need student names, wellbeing notes, behaviour information, or personal events. Read the privacy details.
Using a PDF or image? Check that the full grid, day labels, and clock times are readable. If the preview is not right, correct it in the app or try a calendar file instead.
If something looks wrong
Return to timetable import in the app and generate a fresh code, then enter the new code in your browser.
Do not confirm it. Export a timetable-only calendar if your school system allows it, then start a new import with that file.
Edit or remove incorrect items in the app. If many items are wrong, upload a cleaner export or try a calendar file instead of a PDF.
Look for an export or download option in your school timetable or calendar system. Ask your school IT team for a calendar (.ics) export or a weekly timetable PDF if you need help.
Ready when you are
Enter it in this browser, upload your timetable, then return to the app to review the draft.
